Light and spacious, The Conservatory gives you a little more room to gather. Seating up to 32 guests, it works well for larger celebrations, wedding receptions and corporate events, with plenty of flexibility to make the space your own.

Swap the boardroom for somewhere a little more relaxed. From breakfast meetings and working lunches to team dinners and larger company gatherings, our private spaces can be arranged around the day you have planned.
High-speed Wi-Fi and presentation facilities are available, alongside refreshments and menus tailored to your group. And if the working day turns into an overnight stay, our ten bedrooms are just upstairs, with corporate rates available for regular business stays.

For weddings on a smaller scale, The Black Lion offers an intimate setting in the heart of Long Melford. We’re licensed for ceremonies of up to 40 guests, with spaces that flow from the ceremony through to your wedding breakfast and evening celebrations.
The Conservatory opens onto our walled garden, giving you space to gather inside and out, while our team can work with you on the menu, drinks and details that make the day yours. With ten individually styled bedrooms upstairs, your closest guests don’t have far to go when the celebrations come to an end.
