QUESTIONS

  • What time is check-in and check-out?

Guests are able to check into our rooms anytime from 3 pm onwards. 

Standard check-out time is any time before 11 am.

 

  • Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?

We try our best to offer early check-in times but please give us at least 48 hours’ notice if you plan to arrive before 3 pm. Late check-out options are available at an additional cost, for more information please contact a member of our team.

 

  • Is breakfast included in the room rate?

Breakfast is included in all the package offers. 

 

  • What amenities do you provide in the rooms? (e.g., Wi-Fi, toiletries, etc.)

All our rooms have access to free WIFI and complimentary Bramley Bathroom products to use throughout your stay.

 

  • Do you offer room service? What are the hours?

No, we don’t offer room service in any of our rooms.

  

  • Is parking available? Is it free or is there a charge?

We have a couple of spaces at the front of the pub otherwise, we suggest on-street parking or in the car park opposite the pub on the green.

 

  • Are pets allowed? Is there an additional fee?

Yes, furry friends are welcome in all areas of our pub, including the majority of our overnight rooms (apart from our ‘Best Room’) at an extra charge of £25. To explore our Muddy Paws Stay Package click here

 

  • Is there a shop nearby?

East of England Co-op Foodstore, Long Melford is a 3-minute drive or 14-minute walk away. Alternatively, if you need a supermarket Tesco, Sudbury is an 8-minute drive away.

 

  • Do you have a restaurant on-site? What are the operating hours?

There is a restaurant on-site which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our kitchen opening times can be located here. 

 

  • Do I need to make a reservation?

Yes, we always recommend making a reservation to guarantee yourself a table, reservations can be made via our website or by giving us a call on 01787 321983.

 

  • What type of cuisine do you serve?

Our menus celebrate our access to artisan regional and local suppliers. Award winning cheeses, local vegetables and home-grown meats are on our doorstep helping our Chefs stay true to our region. Our sample menus can be located here. 

 

  • Do you have vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options?

  • What are the opening hours?

  • Is there parking available for restaurant guests?

We have a couple of spaces at the front of the pub otherwise, we suggest on-street parking or in the car park opposite the pub on the green.

 

  • Do you offer takeout or delivery services?

No, we don't currently offer takeout or delivery options. 

 

  • Are children allowed? Do you have a children's menu?

Yes, children are allowed. Our sample children’s menu can be found here. 

 

  • Can you accommodate large groups or parties?

  • Do you have free WIFI?

Yes, all our pubs have free WIFI you just have to sign in.

 

  • Is the pub accessible?

Due to the nature of the historic property, our pub is not accessible. However, the team have a ramp which they can put down for accessible access through the bar door . Please give us a call in advance if you require use of the ramp.
